Summer Camp 2017: Afternoon Program

Yoga & Art

Age group: 6 to 11

Group size: 12 campers maximum

amaliaanja_yoga01Movement is essential for fast-growing bodies. Yoga helps develop vital life tools such as self-esteem and confidence, inner and outer strength and flexibility, attention and concentration.

Through an age-appropriate sequence of yoga poses, fun yoga games and acrobatics, kids will learn about the importance of breathing, balance and body awareness.

Hands-on yoga art projects will sparkle their imagination, and yoga-related educational activities about art, science, and nature will get them excited about their world.

Easy, simple mindfulness and relaxation exercises will conclude the afternoon and give kids the opportunity to wind down before heading home.
