An Important Announcement from Firecracker Math
Dear Families and the Firecracker Math Community:
After over 15 wonderful years, Firecracker Math will be bringing its educational programs to a close by the end of this calendar year.
Our goal has always been to give children the opportunity to experience mathematics as something creative, challenging, and genuinely enjoyable. Over the years, thousands of students have joined us for after school classes, summer and winter camps, private groups and individual lessons, and math festivals. It has been enormously rewarding to watch children develop their mathematical thinking, abilities, and confidence.
We are deeply grateful to the many wonderful teachers who brought their knowledge and enthusiasm to our students, and to you, the parents who entrusted your children to us. Many of you stayed with us for years, and some of our students grew up with Firecracker Math.
We are very proud of what Firecracker Math has accomplished and we hope that the love of mathematics will stay with our students regardless which careers they will choose.
The decision to close was not an easy one, but after more than 15 years, we must bring this chapter to an end.

About Firecracker Math
Firecracker Math offers small group and private instruction on extra-curricular math topics, and aims to spark children’s interest in math, deepen their knowledge and further develop their aptitude and talent in math. Our curriculum focuses on exploration and understanding of mathematical concepts, and on teaching kids the skills of problem solving and logical reasoning.
Firecracker Math offers year-round math classes in-person and online, summer math camps, and private lesson & custom learning pods.
We foster a creative learning environment employing well-trained, enthusiastic teachers with advanced degrees in math or science, and small group sizes to ensure close teacher-to-students interaction and attention to each child’s needs and pace of learning.
