Math Festivals
Firecracker Math 2020 annual festival has been a special place for students in grades K through 11 to participate in interesting age-appropriate math activities and challenges in a creative and collaborative environment. Though we are in unprecedented times, the show must go on! This year our festival will be LIVE-ONLINE and feature guest speakers, short math contests, raffle tickets, and fun prizes!

Sign Up Now!Firecracker Math Festival 2020 is a one day event which will start at 1pm and last for three hours.
Below is the 2020 festival’s schedule:
- 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm Greetings and announcements by the Firecracker Math director Ella Levine. Guest speaker: Dr. Paul Zeitz, Professor of Mathematics at the University of San Francisco and the founder of Proof School.
- 1:30 pm – 3:15 pm Breakout sessions. Kids participate in various activities and challenge quests. You will be able to sign up for different activities. Check out the List of activities.
- 3:15 pm – 4:00 pm MATH Contests for all! The winners will be mailed prizes and certificates. Raffle tickets winners are announced! Closing ceremony.
1pm – 4pm

Drop in on the day of the festival: $20

Need-based financial aid is available.
Fall 2020 festival will take place online via Zoom. Invitation will be emailed 24 hours before the festival.
